Do free trials offer the same protection as a normal one?

1st of all mcafee sucks for even the paid version delete mcafee and get the free version of avg anti virus or the paid version of avg or kaspersky the 2 best out there if your paranoid get a better firewall too
yes, you will be safe but just for 30 days but after 30days it will ask you for update, then you have to buy it .
in my opinion AVG it better and free than mcafee.
